Math Connections '01

In the Math Connections class they learned about things that aren't usually  in our Algebra books, which means it has to be pretty hard, and how do draw and animate objects on college level calculators.They also worked on a math trail, which only one other place in Nebraska has completed one. Most of you are probably wondering why these students wanted to be in this class if they are out  of school for the summer,right? This is a school so they can touch up on their math skills and maybe even understand math better. Here are a few pictures of  the students and the teacher in action.

 

 

Maryjan seems confused at how unbelievably hard this math class is. But is she confused or just plain  bored?

Teaching a bunch of teenagers is HARD work.  especially this bunch. Don't they all look so  rowdy?
