Summer Honors is a two week program which is designed to enrich the educational experience of the most talented students within ESU #11 in Nebraska. There were 425 nominations this year for the program and only 118 of the students were selected as finalists for the program based on their written work and portfolios. There is a $50.00 tuition fee plus the cost of meals.  The program starts at 8:15am with announcements and lasts until 4:30pm. After 4:30 there is a thirty minute small group session and at 7:30 evening activities begin. The activities range from going bowling to watching movies in Kearney.
