Road Trip

Plan a trip to a college of your choice OUTSIDE OF YOUR STATE.

Requirements:

Choose a college which interests you, but is NOT in your state.

1. Plan a trip to visit your college. Your plans must include all transportation decisions, such as mode of transportation, time of departure and time of arrival at each stop along the way. Be sure to allow time for eating and sleeping and perhaps even a little sightseeing.
2. In order to prepare for your college visit participate in a virtual tour of your college. You may use this Virtual College Day tour if you prefer. College Prep-101 will take you through the entire college selection process.

3. On your trip to the college of your choice, plan to stop at two cool entertainment attractions and two cool educational tourist attractions. Be sure to include these on your trip itinerary.

4. Present your itinerary to your class with reasons for each of your stops.

5. Make a multimedia recruitment presentation to your class about the college of your choice. Ask your speech teacher for assistance in preparing an effective presentation.
